The program blends traditional yogic teachings and spirituality with connection and energy medicine to provide a holistic, synergistic and applicable approach to living this practice. Even more, you will begin to understand the conscious versus the unconscious mind, the importance of diet and lifestyle.
Yoga Teacher Training offers an opportunity for self growth, personal development and transformation while providing the tools necessary to develop your own personal practice or to step into your calling as teacher and guide. We will engage in self exploration of your habits, lifestyle, spirituality and sexuality, as well as study yoga history and philosophy, anatomy, alignment, yogic diet, Ayurveda, healing arts and more while tapping into the expansiveness of this practice. Acquire knowledge of the skeletal system - major bones, types of joints, major muscles involved in asana & types of contractions.
Become proficient in explaining the nervous system, stress response, overall mind-body connections, digestive system & respiratory systems as they relate to yoga practice.
Focus on types of joint movement and stabilization. Practice safe movement as it pertains to balancing, stretching, awareness, and physical limitations.
Gain an awareness of key yogic dates and ideas such as the Vedas, Vedanta, Hatha, Colonial, and Modern.
